The Club held its first meeting on 9th March 1977 at the Jolly Gardeners Hotel in Isleworth. which has now been redeveloped.

There were 26 founder members and today we have in excess of 40 who meet on a regular monthly basis.   Our Club, like all other Probus Clubs, is autonomous and creates its own rules so that it continually evolves as circumstances both internally and externally dictate.

The word Probus originated as an abbreviation of the words PROfessional and BUSiness.  Now however membership is not restricted to just these two groups

The Club now meets at the Fulwell Golf Club, Wellington Road, Hampton Hill, TW12 1JY  on a regular monthly basis for fellowship, conversation and of course for lunch and to hear from a speaker on a topic of current  national or local  interest.

The annual membership fee is currently 16 with a joining fee of 25 which includes club tie and insignia
